OSC TRAVEL CLUB INFORMATION RE 2026/2027 SEASON :-

The Travel Club arrange coach travel only (NOT MATCH TICKETS) to every away game apart from Champions League games and Man Utd. We do NOT arrange travel to any Home fixtures at ETIHAD stadium nor provide travel to the Women's games.

We now have a card reader and take payment at the time of booking by card payment going forward.

 

NOTE NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED ON ANY OF OUR COACHES AND NO SMOKING OR VAPING IS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME.

Disabled fans are welcomed on our coaches but we do not have any wheelchair bays on our coaches.  We are only able to take max 2 wheelchairs and the users must be able to walk a few steps/stairs to access the coach.

If you are looking for travel and are completely wheelchair bound / unable to walk we are unable to assist I am afraid.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL SEATS MUST BE PAID FOR AT THE TIME OF BOOKING.  NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN UNLESS THE COACH IS FULL AND WE ARE ABLE TO RESELL SEATS FROM A WAITING LIST.

​​​Lens v Man City - Wednesday 20 Jan 2027 KO 8pm.  LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BOOKING ON.

We are looking at the possibility of running 1 x 59 seat coach to and from this game with an overnight stop the day before the game in Bethune which is approx 17 miles outside Lens.  Hotels in Lens and Lille are very expensive and will not allow group bookings for football fans unfortunately. 

Provisional Cost - £175 per person if you are prepared to share a double/twin room, or £215 per person for a single room.  No discounts for concessions sorry on this occasion.  The figure may change slightly up or down depending on numbers.

Rough plan - depart around 6am ish on Tuesday 19 January.

Channel Tunnel Train to Calais c 1-2pm

Arrive at Hotel late afternoon.  Evening - free time for food/drinks etc.

Leave the hotel late morning on the day of the game and drive straight to Lens ground/park up the coach.  Rest of the day is your own time.

Straight back on the coach after the game, and drive overnight back via the tunnel to arrive back home in Manchester around lunchtime on Thurs 21 Jan.

 

We will need min 30 ish people to make this trip viable, so please let John know if you are interested asap.  Also if you are prepared to share a room and if you require a single or double room.

Note that a deposit will be required at the time of booking that will be non refundable in the event that you cannot go.  If I am full and am able to resell the seats, then refunds will be given. Amount to be confirmed in due course.

 

I will also require confirmation that you have appropriate travel insurance in place.

Leaving - Moston 12 noon, Stadium Blue Car Park G 12.15pm (please advise your vehicle registration to John ASAP when booking), Chorlton Street 12.30pm and Aldi/Crispins 12.45pm.

You are looking for a white "Mostonian" branded coach.  

Pick up points (apart from Wembley games) :-

Moston - adjacent to the Asda petrol station at the bottom of Moston Lane close to the corner of Rochdale Road.

Stadium - Normally pickup is on the Blue Car Park G off Alan Turing Way by the COOP Live Arena. Post code M11 4DW.  Occasionally however it is the Yellow Car Park.  If YELLOW, pickup is at the bus stop opposite the main entrance on Ashton New Road by the Tesla Garage/Souvenir Shop.

Town Centre - outside The Church Pub (formerly known as Churchills Pub) or as close to as possible half way down Chorlton Street. Post Code M1 3HN

Aldi / Crispins - Bus stop outside Aldi (former Crispins Social Club) - Lloyd Street before the junction with Platt Lane. Post Code is M14 7LA.

Please note that it is ILLEGAL to take alcohol on coaches travelling to and from sporting events. 

SMOKING/VAPING IS ALSO NOT PERMITTED ON THE COACH AT ANY TIME.

Coach seats are not allocated - it is First Come, First Served.
